Established since 1948, this delightful sanctuary was the first hotel on Batu Ferringhi beach, and today retains much of its old world charm, a wonderful hideaway to escape to from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Lone Pine is the only boutique hotel along the coastline, with most of its 90 guestrooms facing the sea and shaded by a veil of lofty casuarina trees. Famous for its view of the sunset, it remains a perennial favorite for locals and visitors alike.
