Workforce Training The goal of business and job training is to provide workforce solutions to area businesses, organizations, and individuals. To that end, we currently work with the Department of Assisted and Rehabilitated Services (DARS) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Williamson/Burnet County Opportunities (WBCO), Workforce Investment Act (WIA) as well as Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA). The Learning Pad can provide numerous services including: Corporate training, assessments, non-credit classes, seminars and workshops. Also a variety of online courses are available. Corporate Training The Center for Professional & Workforce Development (CPWD) offers area businesses and organizations proven, timely and cost-effective training solutions on virtually any topic. Our training solutions range from offering non-credit classes, seminars and workshops, to creating Corporate Training specifically designed and tailored for each individual client. Government Training The Learning Pad is a proud vendor of the Department of Information Resources (DIR). We can facilitate training for federal, state, and local government agencies. Veteran's Affairs (VA) Training - Military Benefits The Learning Pad accepts military benefits for education. This extends to veterans as well as their spouse and dependents. Licensing & Certification We offer a variety of programs and review classes designed to help you meet certification or re-certification requirements and/or prepare you to succeed at challenging certification exams. Earn Continuing Education Units (CEU's) to maintain your current professional status. Our CEU's cover area professions such as: Dental, Laboratory Technician, Nursing, Radiology, Respiratory, Insurance Adjusting, and Human Resources.
