Motivated by the accidental death of Lauren Moilien Johnson, the mission of The LAUREN Project (Leaders Abroad Urging Rights Equality and Non-violence), is to make the world safer and more just. We do this by providing carbon monoxide detectors to those in need and by providing grants for International volunteer programs. Lauren was determined to make the world a better place for all to live. We hope to instill her passion for peace and justice in those around us. In her absence, the LAUREN Project is committed to providing financial grants to young adults sharing the same passion for peace and justice as Lauren.
