The Laurel Centre Information

The Laurel Centre began with a vision – to provide expert, compassionate support for those struggling with Compulsive Sexual Behaviour Disorder (CSBD), sex addiction, and porn addiction, as well as their loved ones. Dr Paula Hall, originally a couples’ counsellor and sex therapist, first encountered the lack of specialist treatment in this field in 2008. Determined to fill this gap, she founded ‘Paula Hall & Associates’ in 2012. As the demand for expert care grew, the organisation grew in turn, and rebranded in 2017 as ‘The Laurel Centre’. What started as a small practice has since evolved into the UK’s largest, specialist provider of CSBD, sex and porn addiction therapy. Today, the Laurel Centre has a team of over 25 therapists, supporting over 500 new clients each year. Alongside therapy and recovery courses, we offer an accredited diploma to train counsellors and health professionals, ensuring the highest standards in the field. With services across the UK and internationally through our affiliates in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Singapore, the Laurel Centre is the longest-standing provider of this specialist care.
