This helps us provide the right support while continuing to learn what works for people, families and communities. We are one of Australia’s largest providers of community-managed psychosocial services, offering residential, mobile outreach, centre-based and online support. Alongside One Door Mental Health and The Haven Foundation, we provide individualised, evidence-based and recovery-focused support to more than 25,000 people each year. We’ve supported people, and their families, friends, carers and supporters, for nearly 50 years. Some of our most important lessons have come not from textbooks, but from people who have walked these paths themselves. This lived experience continues to shape everything we do. We value lived experience and lived expertise. Many people across our workforce draw on their own experiences of mental health challenges, recovery and supporting others to improve services, influence the sector and drive change. We do this in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and communities, and alongside clinical care providers, because working together leads to better outcomes.
