The Invicta Foundation is a charity that supports veterans and forces families who have been effected by military service. The charity is based in the garrison town of Colchester, but supports families across the UK. The Invicta Foundation was established by Cheryl Hall and Stephen Robertson in 2010 after their son Ashley Hall was severely injured during active service. He’d lost both legs above the knee, lost his left thumb completely, partial fingers on his left hand, as well as part of his hand, his pelvis had been shattered and he sustained some damage to his lower back. As non dependents the family were not covered by the MOD after their son had returned from the hospital, leaving a large gap in the support package. The charity works to support those individuals and families who are experiencing similar struggles, as well as offering various forms of support to aid our troops and veterans as they return into civilian life. Some of the charities projects include. > Forces and Family Guidance Bureau. > Respite Breaks. > Equipment donations and emergency funding.
