The Investment Group at UWFA Information

The UWFA is an Registered Student Organization dedicated to helping prepare students for excellence in the financial services industry. UWFA events feature professionals in the finance industry who provide insights regarding their career path, opportunities for students out of college, and their opinion on current market conditions. UWFA also manages two portfolios that allow students to offer their view on what positions should be held within these portfolios. Overall, the UWFA goal is to provide students with resources and opportunities in investment management related fields, and to foster a community where students can learn from each other and professionals in the workforce. UWFA has hosted asset managers, investment banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, and venture capital firms come speak to their members about their experiences, and to offer employment opportunities to the University of Washington’s most elite financial minds.
