Founded by Stephen Ashbee, a Manchester-based tech recruiter with 15 years’ experience hiring, coaching, and working with software engineers across Europe, the US, and Canada, The Interview Stack is built on a clear understanding of how engineering interviews work, how hiring decisions are made, and where strong candidates often lose momentum. Coaching is designed for software engineers preparing for behavioural interviews, hiring manager and recruiter conversations, system design rounds, coding interviews, AI-assisted coding assessments, and mock interviews. The focus is not generic interview advice. It is practical preparation tailored around the candidate’s target companies, target roles, interview stage, and biggest concerns.
