WVIR-TV, owned by the Gray Television Broadcast Company, is the NBC and CW+ affiliated television station for Charlottesville, Virginia. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF (RF channel 35) and VHF (RF channel 2) from transmitters on Carters Mountain south of Charlottesville, on UHF in Orange County, and in the Shenandoah Valley on RF channel 22 (Elliots Knob) and RF Channel 30 (Massanutten Mtn.). The station can also be seen on Comcast channel 4 (Standard Definition) and channel 804 (High Definition) and on satellite (Dish and DirecTV.)
WVIR's studio is located on East Market Street (US 250 Bus) in Downtown Charlottesville.
