The Honeysuckle Foundation for Children with Cancer Information

The Honeysuckle Foundation for Children with Cancer is a 501(c)(3) charity founded in 2002. Our mission works to provide funding for psycho-social programs and resources for Pediatric Cancer patients and their families. We believe that life should not stop because a child is diagnosed with cancer. Things may be different, but kids deserve to be kids no matter what the circumstances. Doctors, Nurses, and hospitals provide medical care. We work to help provide the social-emotional support. The Honeysuckle’s mission also includes ongoing social media campaigns for Pediatric Cancer Awareness during the month of September and beyond, to provide further support and funding from companies, groups, and individuals. Our goal here at The Honeysuckle Foundation for Children with Cancer is to raise the awareness level so that one day, ‘Go Gold’ and September as Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month will be universally recognized. We look for collaborative opportunities with others to make this happen. We live by the words of Eleanor Roosevelt - “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is the present. That’s why it is called a gift.”
