The Hollyhock Foundation seeks to create a more just world through investments in education, journalism, and the environment. Since 2003, we have invested in exceptional leaders whose organizations share our vision for a world where all people have the opportunity to flourish. Education: We collaborate with outstanding schools in underserved neighborhoods to provide opportunities for students to reach their full potential. We fund programs that provide K-12 teachers with opportunities to develop and strengthen their instructional expertise and connect to vibrant communities of educators. Local and Investigative Journalism: We believe strong local and investigative journalism is fundamental to sustaining a healthy democracy. Environment: We support solutions that will stabilize the climate by reducing harmful emissions.
