The Hive (formerly Suntrap) is a environmental education centre buried deep in the heart of Epping Forest. For over 50 years we've been providing nature-based learning, and recently we've expanded our curriculum to include more climate education for all ages. We are a unique 7 acre site with 4 classrooms, 20 camping pods, a sustainable events building for up 80 and loads of diverse habitats to explore. We offer educational visits for schools, community groups, families and more, as well as a venue for education themed activities such as conferences, work away days, meetings and workshops.
