City Headshots was founded by in 2009 to offer specialized portraits for actors and models. We've slowly grown into a fun team of people you can read about below and we now have photographers in Denver and Philadelphia as well. Each day we work with clients for all different purposes, from creatives like actors and models to business and LinkedIn portraits, online dating photos, graduation pictures, and even medical residency shots. Although the background and look of your shot differs based on what you do (see our recommendations), when it comes down to it it's all about your expression and capturing that natural, relaxed look where you are confidently engaging with the camera. If your expression isn't genuine, people can't form an emotional connection with you and your headshot won't be memorable.

With 30+ years of experience photographing people, I create standout portraits, headshots and on-site photography for business professionals, job seekers and groups. My portraits and headshots are for people who need a fresh, inviting image that says something distinctive about who they are and the work they do. As a trained executive coach, I have a unique ability to help my clients relax in front of the camera so that their authenticity comes forth. I create an experience unlike any other that helps put my clients at ease by showing them at their best and making the shoot fun. As a former advertising photographer, I can even make a bullfrog look glamorous (and have!) I have worked for national publications, entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 companies and even photographed the noted capitalist, Malcolm Forbes, along with hockey player Bobby Orr. I mostly enjoy photographing people who really need a great image, but would rather have a dentist's drill pointed at them than a camera! My goal is to help my clients look better than they ever thought they could and enjoy the process. Once created, these images build trust and credibility for clients, branding them instantly. And while many photographers can create flattering photos, what I’m known for is developing a concept that really says something about my clients: what distinguishes them, and more importantly, revealing them as people with influence in their industry.
