The Growlin' Gourmet is a family owned company. We are located in the historic North Dam Mill in the coastal Maine town of Biddeford. Our two dogs, Java and Thumper, are the inspiration behind The Growlin' Gourmet. As a professional chef who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and a nurse practitioner we are knowledgeable and passionate about the benefits of living a holistic lifestyle. When we rescued our dogs, we knew we wanted to provide them with the best quality of life we could manage. We researched a holistic approach to dog health and applied what we learned to the care of our canine companions.
