Investing in our children and their families will help them build the resilience and coping skills needed to adjust to the death of a loved one and enable them to handle future challenges and make contributions toward building healthier and safer communities. Our Founders, Sarah Kroenke and Cara Mearns-Thompson, have dedicated their entire 50 years of collective professional experience serving as hospice social workers, school grief counselors, mental health crisis and trauma responders, local and national speakers on childhood and family bereavement, authors of grief support curriculum and private practice grief therapists.
