The Green Business Program of Santa Barbara County Information

The Green Business Program of Santa Barbara County (GBPSBC) is a recognition program for environmentally conscious businesses in Santa Barbara County. The GBPSBC is part of the California Green Business Program, a network of local programs operated by counties and cities throughout California. We provide resources, advice, and assistance to businesses who are looking to reduce their carbon footprint and increase sustainability. This includes conserving resources and generating savings. We work with businesses in the cities of Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, Goleta, Buellton, Solvang, Santa Maria and Guadalupe, as well as the unincorporated areas of Santa Barbara County to operate in an environmentally-responsible manner, and recognize them for their efforts. Becoming certified as a Santa Barbara County Green Business is simple, and only requires one fee paid every three years. The certification will allow your business to stand out from your competitors, and allows you to effectively market your product to environmentally conscious consumers.
