Climate change affects all of us and we all have to do something about it. That can be a daunting task and it’s hard to know where to start. That’s why we organized the Great Climate Race, a walking/ running event series that enables participants world wide to raise money for local renewable energy projects. Its a fun way to do something meaningful about climate change in your own community. We were founded in 2015 where our inaugural event drew over 1000 participants in Vancouver and hundreds more in our virtual race. In 2017 we are dramatically expanding our virtual race. These family-friendly events are for people of all ages and athletic abilities.
