Out of one sailing Captain’s love for the sea, his island home, and of course, his dog, the Black Dog Brand was born. Since 1971, The Black Dog has defined a relaxed, island-inspired lifestyle, rich in nautical tradition. Whether it be through our complete collection of men’s, ladies’, and kids’ sportswear, dog accessories, gifts for the home, or through our tavern, bakery and cafés, we have come to stand for the highest quality. We believe there is no substitute for it.

To do this we use the freshest ingredients available. Our basil and rosemary are grown on-site; our ham, bacon and chorizo are outdoor bred from Dingley Dell Farm in Suffolk, who believe in superbly flavoured and welfare-friendly pork; and our other meats are sourced by Direct Meats, who genuinely care about animal welfare and understand the importance of reducing stress to the animal at every stage. Not forgetting the main part, all our doughs are handmade daily and then rested for 24 hours to create a crisp yet fluffy base. And with a passion for great food comes a passion for great wine! Our list has been carefully selected to offer great value wines with an emphasis on Italian wineries and small independent producers.
