Our goal is to provide outstanding service the moment they arrive, aiming to form a long lasting relationship. We strive to provide a high standard in everything we do, from growing and or bringing in only the best quality material, as well as being there to assist long term with any questions or needs they may have. Our family relocated to the Dade City area in 1998, so that we were able to raise our boys in the country small town atmosphere. At that time, we owned and operated a landscape company for around 10 years, and as homeschool parents, we wanted to teach our boys to be well rounded in all areas. Our sons were always involved in our day to day business, and loved every minute of it. In 2002 we were able to purchase 40 acres, with the goal of giving our boys more space to grow in. During the period after purchase, our sons were interested in gardening, and growing plants from whatever were brought back from a job. As homeschooling parents, we began to see an opportunity to teach them, not only to grow plants, but to work hard to produce a product they could in turn profit from. Our oldest son at the time was 14, and made the suggestion that we start a Wholesale Nursery, he had been to many nurseries while growing up, so understood the concept, and said it would be so much better if we could grow our own material. Of course being a homeschool parent, we always tried to use real life opportunities to teach our children, and this just seemed to unfold naturally. We decided to take the idea, and use it as a learning tool. Our oldest started researching the steps we needed to do to begin, and that is when The Gardens Wholesale Nursery became a reality. Our goal from the beginning was to be able to operate a family owned business in our community, building a team that would have integrity, loyalty, and the highest standard possible.
