The Friendship Association is an all-volunteer organization that relies on donations, both direct and in-kind, and grants to fund our projects. Since 2000 we have accompanied over 50 delegations to Cuba. Representatives from the Friendship Association make an average of four trips a year to Cuba. During the past 15 years we have formed and maintained warm working relationships with key individuals and organizations in many of the communities of Cuba. We hold a license from the U.S. Department of Commerce to deliver material aid to Cuba. To date we have shipped 23 forty-foot containers to eastern Cuba as well as hand-delivered numerous donations, including hard to find medicines and educational materials.
