The Forward Movement Information

The Forward Movement is an award winning social enterprise that uses the adoption of a new symbol of accessibility as a catalyst to combat ableism and promote the importance of accessibility and inclusion for people of all abilities. The Forward Movement now has over 70 partners across the public, private and third sector. The Dynamic Symbol for Accessibility is improvement in three ways: It places the focus is on the person It emphasises different ability, reframing the way society views and interacts with persons with a disability. The change in symbol serves as a catalyst for dialogue, prompting a needed culture shift on social and physical inclusion We have scaled through open-sourced activism.
