The center of any Blacksmith shop has at it's heart three basic tools: The anvil, the hammer and the forge. To many people Blacksmithing brings up images of the poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow "Under the spreading Chestnut tree" This poem is as true today as it was 120 years ago however, modern Blacksmithing has changed with the times. The Forgeworks keeps the traditions alive with the ancient philosophy of craftsmanship, fit and finish, but also in keeping up with changes in technology.
