The Firefly Artists was established in 2011 to create a gallery setting for local artists. The goal was to create a space where artists could meet, offer support to one another, and display and sell their beautiful creations. The Firefly Artists has the great privilege of displaying work from a stunning variety of artists and media including oils, acrylics, watercolors, photography, collage, etchings, lithographs, jewelry, textiles, ceramics, sculptures and encaustics. Throughout the past five years, in their main gallery at 180 Main Street, Northport, New York, and pop-up galleries in the community, The Firefly Artists have been able to offer display space to over 70 local artists.
