Learn about our Filipino History, culture, & Language Introducing The Course: Filipino 101 - "Being Filipino" ...Examines the beauty of the interwoven relationship of the history. culture, and language. This special class takes students on a journey starting from their current level of knowledge, and building upon that base level of understanding and self-awareness of Being Filipino. This state of being is fostered through a unique group inquiry. Students will inevitably discover where they are rooted through a series of guided, interactive conversations, and as a result, will have a better understanding of where they are going. As an entry-level course for all ages, the goal of Filipino 101 is to bridge generational and cultural gaps, thus allowing graduates to have workability for future needs of the local community and country.
