The Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex is a 28-acre sports village located between 17th & 23rd Streets along Manhattan’s Hudson River. Opened in 1995, Chelsea Piers transformed four historic, long-neglected piers into a major center for public recreation and waterfront access. Annual visitation is approximately 4.1 million. Situated on Piers 59 through 62 and in the head house that connects them, the complex features: the Golf Club, the Chelsea Piers Fitness Club, Sky Rink, the Field House, Bowlmor, the Lighthouse, Current and Pier Sixty Event Centers, Sunset Terrace, and the Marina at Chelsea Piers. The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, Manhattan’s only multi-tiered, year-round, outdoor golf driving range and teaching academy, allows golfers to hit full shots, practice putting and take lessons from top pros. Chelsea Piers Fitness features one of the country's most challenging rock walls, a 75-foot pool, Hudson River sundecks, dedicated studios for yoga, barre, Pilates and cycle programs, and 150+ group fitness classes a week. Chelsea Piers also features two indoor ice rinks, a 40-lane bowling center operated by Bowlmor, along with gymnastics, soccer, and basketball facilities for youths and adults. Often referred to as Manhattan's ultimate playground, Chelsea Piers attracts sports & recreation enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Friends of the High Line
The High Line is an elevated public park on Manhattan's West Side that is operated and maintained by the nonprofit conservancy Friends of the High Line. Friends of the High Line fundraises nearly 100% of the park's annual budget. Through our work with communities on and off the High Line, we’re devoted to reimagining the role public spaces have in creating connected, healthy neighborhoods and cities. Built on a historic, elevated rail line, the High Line was always intended to be more than a park. You can walk through gardens, view art, experience a performance, savor delicious food, or connect with friends and neighbors-all while enjoying a unique perspective of New York City. The High Line is owned by the City of New York and we operate under a license agreement with NYC Parks. https://www.facebook.com/highlinenyc https://twitter.com/highlinenyc https://instagram.com/highlinenyc
