Outside, the 59 acres of gardens and grounds provide a beautiful sanctuary. Above all else, the Cathedral is a place for spiritual enrichment. Whether you visit for a tour or tower climb, worship service, concert, pilgrimage, or insightful program—all are welcome.

Sidwell Friends School (SFS) is a PK-12, co-educational Quaker day school with campuses in Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD.

Georgetown Day School offers an educational program that fosters a love of learning while providing serious instruction in the academic disciplines, the arts, and physical education and athletics. Over the past 75 years, GDS has grown from a school of seven families to a pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade school with more than 1,000 students and a faculty of more than 300 on one unified campus in Washington, DC. While circumstances of today are not the same as those of 1945, the needs of children and the importance of an equitable and excellent educational environment are as compelling as they have ever been. GDS seeks to enroll students and families who are committed to the mission of the School and who will be positive and cooperative members of the community.
