Feather World is a small company on the south side of Chicago, Illinois, and it was founded by Mr. Leon Buchanan Jr., who is the CEO. Mr. Buchanan began creating his beautiful feather letters, icons, fonts, and characters in 1994. His feather designs are multi-dimensional, and intricately designed. The display of colors that are used on his spectacular characters, icons, and letters, are magnificent and the work of a true artist. Mr. Leon Buchanan Jr. also owns the copyrights to all of his feather creations. Feather World uses the artistry of the feather, in various forms (open, shaded, or with vanes), to design stationery, Holiday cards, inspirational framed poetry, children's clothing line, adult clothing, jackets, sweaters, hats, and a series of bilingual educational tools.
