The Fake Factory is an award-winning studio specializing in videodesign, established in Florence, the Art Capital of Italy, in 2001 by the artist and videodesigner Stefano Fake, together with a group of talented new media artists : digital videomakers, animators, photographers, designers and visualmakers. The Fake Factory deals with linguistic experimentation related to the new media and is now an italian and International reference for the contemporary research on video design. The Fake Factory took part in the carrying out of several hundreds of video design project: 3D videomapping; architectural installation; video and TV productions; luminous; performances; videoinstallations; mapping projections, stage designs for concerts, theatre ad opera; stage design for multimedia runaways and virtual fashion shows; visual settings for Museum, Galleries and Cultural events; creation of films and videoart installations.
