The Explorers Information

The Explorers was founded on the principles of offering experiential cultural trips and adventure getaways to those discerning travelers who look for more than sightseeing and shopping on their vacations. Right from our formation in 1995 we have relentlessly worked on making a vacation an ‘experience’ rather than a journey. Our itineraries are designed to absorb the essence of the places that we visit. On our cultural tours you would get to have a close look at the culture, cuisine, traditions, art and craft apart from the usual visits to places of tourist interest. Our adventure getaways take you on some of the pristine trails in the Himalayas and Sahayadri Hills, camping in some of the most spectacular spots, rafting on roaring rapids of the rivers in India and Nepal. Our adventure camps are designed for the young explorers who want to experience the thrills of camping in true wilderness and challenging themselves on rock faces and learning bush craft. Our team comprises trainers and facilitators from diverse backgrounds. While adventure programmes are handled exclusively by our team of trained and certified mountaineers and naturalists, our cultural trips are coordinated by professionals from diverse fields. In the last 25 years we have been privileged to have the company of more than 25000 explorers who have not only been on several of our programmes but also added a lot of fun, laughter and indelible memories to our trips by their presence.
