We are a national consulting firm focused on helping schools, school systems, and youth development organizations create educational equity. We support equitable learning environments and communities by supporting individuals’ efforts to change. Our primary tools are simple but powerful: we listen and we coach. Our team brings a deep knowledge of school systems, from the classroom level to the central office. We believe that any lasting reform begins with a “whole system” view, integrates technical and relational approaches to change, and focuses on building new capacities in the people and teams that comprise the system. Working in partnership with each client to prioritize the elements of need, our facilitation and coaching approach provides a powerful accelerator for growth and development of new, more equitable practices. Our goal is to help organizations develop their own capacity from within—the capacity to create educational equity, to further social justice, and to stand up to bias and oppression. This requires solutions beyond the technical approaches of implementing policies and “best” practices.
