Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) is considered the largest media and production entity in the MENA Region and Africa. It covers a surface area of two million square meters and includes eighty studios, sixteen outdoor shooting locations, post-production facilities, Dolby ATMOS Studio, and a five-star hotel. Moreover, EMPC includes a number of replicated areas of true-to-life Cairo districts such as downtown and Garden City, in addition to the courts, hospitals and other vital places in order to facilitate shooting within EMPC premises and avoid crowdedness of real locations. EMPC has state-of-the-art equipped studios and the latest shooting equipment that is necessary for any crew during the pre and post production phases. EMPC is currently encouraging foreign production houses to shoot in Egypt and hopes to meet the production houses’ goals regarding versatility, cost-effective packages and other incentives such as: shooting permits, studios, pre and post-production services, equipment (cameras, lighting & grip), professional staff and crews, talents, stunts, accommodation, transportation, customs exemption…etc.
