The e-nvironmentalist is a not-for-profit climate change and digital media platform. It was created so interested people could better understand what’s at stake with these two e-nvironmental stories. The distinct issues of our rapidly warming world (the natural) and our attention-sapping media (the digital) may seem unlikely bedfellows at first. But therein lies our challenge — to make the case they're compatible. Or think about it in terms of societal relevance: these are the two environmental issues that are not leaving us anytime soon; market failures the size of climate change and our digital media simply can't be corrected for overnight. The e-nvironmentalist rejects the advertising model that is destroying our media, saturating our attention and undermining our democracies. We will never advertise or sell audience data. The aim here is to: ● Produce quality-over-quantity journalism that's accurate, fair and scientific; ● Limit digital distractions where we can; ● Promote diverse voices; ● Provoke new conversations and actions; and ● Grow sustainably. Having no marketing budget sucks, but it can be overcome. Please get in touch if you'd like to contribute to the e-nvironmentalist's future. I'm looking for digital contributors in particular. 🔎 www.e-nvironmentalist.com ✉ john@e-nvironmentalist.com
