The Dashery Information

The Dashery started as a men’s clothing store in Alexandria, MN. In May of 2021 we expanded to carry better women’s clothing as well. We specialize in suiting men of all sizes and can now suit women as well. Our main focus is business casual attire as well as event and special event attire. The Dashery carries casual every day clothing as well as performance and shoes. The beginning…The Dashery began in 2017 in Glenwood, MN in a 600 sq ft shop with the intention of serving wedding parties and renting tuxedos. The store saw such rapid growth that 6 months later we had to start thinking about how we would expand physically as the store was just simply too small with the large business we were seeing so quickly. The answer came in April 2018 when an opportunity to lease a 4000 sq ft building in downtown Alexandria came up. We jumped on it immediately and began the buildout process in May. We opened the Alexandria doors June 12, 2018 and moved the Glenwood location up to Alexandria at the end of the month. Since then we have grown incredibly, adding team members and more clothing lines as well as custom suit, shirting and trouser options to serve even the hardest to fit customers. In April of 2021 we moved to our permanent home 2 doors down and share 15000 square feet with Yesterday’s Antiques (the best antique store in Minnesota!) we’ve since added better women’s lines and continue to grow rapidly. We're just getting started and the excitement for the better brands we provide our community only intensifies as we discover new lines and vendors to diversify our offerings.
