The Current Core INC is a nonprofit arts and wellness collective committed to fostering a vibrant creative ecosystem by providing affordable housing and entrepreneurial support for creatives in Los Angeles. Our mission is to offer a comprehensive support system for creative transplants—artists, filmmakers, performers, and other visionaries—who relocate to Los Angeles without access to the resources necessary to thrive. Through our programs, we empower these individuals with the tools to succeed in both their creative and business endeavors.At the heart of our initiative is the belief that creativity thrives when supported by a strong community and infrastructure. We offer affordable housing specifically designed for creatives, creating a space where collaboration and artistic growth can flourish. Additionally, The Current Core provides a wide range of programs, including mandatory course hours, classes, conferences, master classes, and fellowships focused on creative development, film production, performance arts, and collaborative storytelling. Our holistic approach to community development aims to end homelessness among creatives and provide a safe haven for underserved artists across Los Angeles.
