The Crummy Boys Shop, Inc was founded in May of 2012 by Richard Crummy in his garage in Monticello, Minnesota by a family man with 5 boys. In growing up in Minnesota Richard spent much time in his dads wood shop at the high school and developed a passion for woodworking. After graduating from high school Richard went on to college first a small and wonderful two year school Suomi College (Now Finlandia University). Then on to Graduate from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. Richard then went on to work as a Corporate Manufacturing Engineer, Trainer/ Facilitator and many more positions over the years. When the opportunity to start a business came about Richard was originally going to start a woodworking shop which was a lifelong dream of his. In doing so he started looking for a niche in woodworking that would set him apart from everyone else in the woodworking industry. That is where the discovery of the Laser Engraving came about. Richard had a son that came home from school with a wood project that had been laser engraved. In seeing this Richard decided here is the niche needed. In investigating laser engravers it soon came to be that there is more dynamics and less overhead investment then a full wood shop. The Crummy Boys Shop, Inc. also known as TCB5 Laser Works has now become a full service family run laser engraving shop. The Crummy Boys Shop, Inc. has the ability to engrave pens, wine glasses, coffee cups, laser engraved pictures in wood, and much much more. TCB5 strives to not only provide it customers with quality service but also to offer products that are idivigally unique that can be enjoyed for years to come.
