CCIP is a structured, full-placement Exchange Visitor Internship Program administered by FUSIA Communications, a US State Department-designated visa sponsor in the J-1 Intern category in collaboration with partner universities in Asia. Since 2008, CCIP has provided cultural exchange internship opportunities to over 1,000 exchange interns. US government officials and community leaders have praised the program for fostering international exchange between Asia and the US. In 2018, Manhattan's Borough President Gale A. Brewer declared CCIP Appreciation Day in Manhattan for the fifth time in NYC history. CCIP is a social enterprise internship program dedicated to fostering mutually beneficial East-West cultural exchange. Its mission is to promote understanding between the US and young citizens of Asia and the Pacific region and to nurture the next generation of global leaders.
