The Meyer Timber brand allows the company to develop further into new and varied product areas, thereby giving our customers greater choice, whilst still retaining the character and core values of the previous brands. Service arrangements now mean that the majority of our extensive depot stock range can be delivered in 48 hours, or if necessary, next day. Equally important is the company’s continuing commitment to environmental certification; Meyer Timber is certified to the FSC, PEFC and BM TRADA Forest Products chain of custody schemes, and as a member of the Timber Trades Federation is fully committed to the industry’s Responsible Purchasing Policy initiative. All of the above are cohesively managed in conjunction with our Business Management System, certified to ISO 9001:2008. Looking to the future, Meyer Timber is now ideally placed to explore and develop new ideas and opportunities within the timber sector, including plans to develop a softwood inventory and opportunities to add value to our products via on-site cutting facilities. The company will continue to combine the best of its history with strong new branding and trading initiatives to further consolidate its market leading position.
