The Columbus Jewish Federation Information

The Columbus Jewish Federation is dedicated to strengthening and enriching the central Ohio Jewish Community. Through its support of its family of social services, human services and Jewish education & identity, the Federation helps to support agencies, synagogues and organizations, locally, in Israel and throughout the Jewish world. As such, the Federation strives to:strengthen Jewish identity;meet the basic human social service needs of local Jewry;assist Jews who are persecuted, oppressed or at risk in our own community and anywhere in the world;support the immigration to, and absorption of, Jews in Israel;and, to strengthen the bonds between Columbus Jews and the people, land, history and culture of Israel. The Columbus Jewish Federation's primary mission is to:assure that the services and programs delivered to our community (local, national and overseas) by the agencies we support are vital, effective and relevant to our vision,define a prioritized Jewish community agenda in support of our vision,raise the funds necessary to meet that agenda with its partner agencies and synagogues, andsupport the recruitment and retention of world-class volunteer, religious and professional Jewishly competent and committed leadership to lead the Federation, its partner agencies and the synagogues toward the fulfillment of that agenda.
