The Collins Group Inc. is located at 303 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois and was established in 1987. The Real Estate Brokerage firm is corporate owned by John R. Collins and presently retains four salespeople. John has been a licensed Real Estate Salesman since 1978, and a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1980. He was born and raised in St. Charles, IL and attended Lake Forest Academy College Prepatory School in Lake Forest, Illinois graduating in 1972. He also received his BA Degree in History from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana in 1976. The Collins family has developed well-known subdivisions in St. Charles such as Aintree, Persimmon Woods and Persimmon Fields of Fox Chase. John has not only built homes in these three subdivisions, but has been involved in all real estate aspects of residential and lot sales, Homeowners Associations, and other extra-governmental activities. He presently lives in Crane Road Estates with his wife, Peggy, and his two sons, John and Patrick, and is marketing four residential lots in said subdivision, along with other residences in Persimmon Woods and lots in the price range of $200,000+ in Wayne, Illinois. John is currently on the Homeowners Association Board and Architectural Review Committee for Crane Road Estates. John is a member of The Fox Valley Board of Realtors and currently on the Board of Directors of the John Baker Norris Recreation Center, St. Charles Country Club Community Hospital, The Henry Rockwell Baker Community Center, and Tri-City Health Partnership, a free medical clinic in St. Charles. He also served in the past as Director of The Wabash College Alumni Board, Hotel Baker Governance Committee and Delnor Community Hospital.
