The two-fold mission of the Clarion Foundation is to provide strategic and financial support for the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers' Workshop in the belief that the literature of speculative fiction is in a unique position to enable greater public understanding of the complex social, environmental, and technological issues facing today’s world.
