The City of Flin Flon is a unique northern-urban community located north of the 55th parallel on the Manitoba/Saskatchewan border. Flin Flon is part of the Precambrian Amisk Volcanic Belt which was formed millions of years ago by underwater volcanic eruptions. These intense eruptions and multiple episodes of glaciations left us with a unique rocky landscape filled with rich mineral deposits that are still being mined to this day. Flin Flon is also home to a thriving arts community consisting of painters, photographers, musicians, and more! There are a number of well received annual events that take place in Flin Flon including the Blueberry Jam Music Gathering and the Trout Festival. Come experience The Water & The Wild!
