Priory School is an independent co-educational day school for boys and girls from 4-18 years, founded in 1993, and, although non-denominational, is run with a distinct Christian ethos. It welcomes children of all faiths and none and has among its pupil body Christian, Jewish, and Muslim pupils as well as those of other faiths and beliefs. The aim of Priory School is to offer a first-class education at an affordable cost in a well-structured and clearly run environment in order to become the school of choice for parents and pupils on the Isle of Wight. I am very proud that Priory School maintains a family atmosphere throughout where students feel safe, secure and can thrive in all areas. It continues to focus, as it has done since its foundation, on the development of each individual student, building on the solid foundation of its independence, its small class sizes, its pastoral flexibility, and its sound academic results. The School was blessed on Monday October 8th 2012 by the chaplain Rev Alan Swanborough in the presence, and with the assistance, of other representatives of the Christian Church and of the island mosque and others.
