Since 1999, the Children's Festival has provided a platform for young people from many different cultures to showcase their family traditions through music, dance and food. This year the festival is staged at First Fleet Park in the Rocks, where successive waves of immigrants have stamped their mark on Australian history. Bringing together many different cultures, the Children's Festival is an ideal example of our flourishing multicultural society, serving to bring communities together in a celebration of youth.
