The Childhood Development Initiative Information

CDI is a non-profit organisation working to improve outcomes for children in disadvantaged communities in Ireland. CDI was established in 2004 in Tallaght West by a group of committed individuals who had a vision of a better place for children. Today, with support from the Irish government and other funders, CDI continues to design, deliver and evaluate prevention and early intervention programmes for children in Tallaght and beyond. Working in partnership with existing structures and services, CDI improves outcomes in literacy, speech and language, parenting, antenatal to three coordination and community safety. CDI also provides a training and consultancy service -QuEST. Annually, QuEST supports over 130 organisations and services working with children, families and communities.
