Otolaryngology is the area of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders affecting the head and neck region. Dr. Gail Anderson founded Chesapeake Otolaryngology Associates LLC in 2001, opening her first office in Bowie, Maryland. She opened her second office in 2004 in Southern Maryland to serve both the Calvert and Prince George’s counties and communities. We welcomed Dr. Katherine Perry to our staff in August 2015. In December 2017, Chesapeake Otolaryngology Associates was one of the founding physician offices for The Centers for Advanced ENT Care (www.cadentcare.com), the Mid-Atlantic’s premier provider of comprehensive ear, nose and throat services. Chesapeake Otolaryngology Associates specializes in providing professional health care services for a wide variety of Ear, Nose and Throat health care services. Dr. Anderson was one of the first surgeons in the country to begin performing the balloon sinuplasty procedure. We also utilize coblation (radiofrequency technology) for tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies.
