We are the national organisation for professional public space surveillance system managers. We are the voice of public space surveillance in the UK. We are also advocates for the video surveillance profession, promoting the ethical use of CCTV for the public good. Working with our membership, we liaise with government to represent the views of practitioners on a wide range of topics including data protection, codes of practice, and funding. We also work closely with the police - both local forces and national representative bodies - to develop standards and codes of practice around the use of CCTV for crime prevention, detection and investigation.
