Eco Tan was born out of a personal journey to find a safer, healthier alternative to traditional tanning products. Founder Sonya Driver became determined to create a solution after her sister Rachael was diagnosed with melanoma at just 30 years old. With no organic self-tanning options available, Sonya was alarmed by the potential health risks associated with conventional products — especially in the context of Rachael's deep scar from surgery. "I became consumed with finding a safe tanning alternative after my sister’s diagnosis.
