The Brecks’ Fen Edge & Rivers is a Landscape Partnership Scheme supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which focuses on the river corridors of the Norfolk & Suffolk Brecks. Over the course of five years (2020-2024) scheme partners will deliver in excess of 24 landscape and heritage based projects. Our aim is to engage with local communities to tell the story of the Brecks and celebrate its fascinating landscape character, wildlife and history. We hope to move this unique landscape from the margins of public awareness into the mainstream, and give communities the tools to conserve this unique heritage into the future. We are hosted by Suffolk County Council and based at The Carnegie in Thetford. Our many partners include Local Authorities; Statutory Agencies; conservation, heritage and community organisations, Trusts and Charities, local attractions and committed individuals.
