The BioCollective is a direct-to-consumer personal health and wellness platform with the microbiome at its core. Its collective nature and holistic, original approach sets it apart from others in the field. Serving both the commercial biotechnology and consumers, The BioCollective recruits members to provide samples (poop) which are leveraged across many research platforms. Meta data from members across the broad population with sample bioinformatics provides context to a bigger picture of common factors across chronic diseases and rapid development of solutions. Viable samples also enable isolation and culture of new strains for development in food, probiotics, pharmaceuticals and functional foods.
