the-Bias-Cut.com is the first pro-age contemporary fashion online boutique. We uniquely curate all our collections with the discerning, stylish 40+ woman in mind. Everything is modelled by 'real women'​ over 40, of different heights, shapes and ages, and customers can shop by their body shape, or areas they wish to cover or show off. Jacynth Bassett, age 26, founded the-Bias-Cut.com straight out of studying Law at Cambridge. She had grown saddened at seeing women like her mum being treated as invisible by the Fashion Industry, largely because of their age. A love for style doesn't fade, but she met lots of women who felt ignored, or fed up with frumpy, dowdy or unflattering styles being offered to them. So it became Jacynth's mission to create an online shopping experience that truly celebrates 40+ women. As well as our tailored shopping filters and 40+ models, we select the best styles by leading contemporary designers - focusing on modern style, beautiful quality and flattering cut in equal measures.
